Sited on a small island 8 km off St David’s Head on the Pembrokeshire coast, this lighthouse not only guides ocean-going ships around the British coast but also marks the outer limits of the dangerous Bishops and Clerks rocks. It has the distinction of having the oldest unaltered lantern in England and Wales, with the original rectangular window (many lighthouses later switched to diamond shaped ones).
