Tŵr Mawr, Llanddwyn
Set on higher ground than its sibling Tŵr Bach, this tower may also have been built as an unlit daymark in the 1820s. The shape of the tower is similar to the windmills found across Anglesey and may have been built by the same masons. In 1845 a room was added at ground level with windows for showing a light, which was first lit on 1 January 1846.
